In the last year....haha

so i know i have been really neglecting this page....oops my bad...i dont have internet at my house...yes that is right i now have my own place!!! I love it, yes i would love it also if a few of my cousins would stick around and live with me but hey can't win them all...i now live in the basement apartment in Hopsers, Ia. I have had water in my place 4 times and counting but thats what happens when we get 26 inches more rain then normal in just a few months!! I also now work at the village full time and i love it!! love my people and my co-workers...for the most part!! haha. i am finished with college...well my Associates Degree at least! so that is another huge change in my life...no more college or SUBWAY!! yes that is right i quit there in May of this year when i started working at the village more. I am so much happier in my life right now then i think i have ever been....it is just so peaceful to know that at the end of the day i can go home and lock the door and no one will bother me!! haha unless it is one of my many family members who also live in Hospers...but they are always welcome!! well that is all for now...hopefully it wont take me another year to get back on here!!

~Spring 09~

so my friends Drew and Krista and I went to a Nickelback Concert in March!!! we had so much fun! haha. we drove down to Omaha, NE for the day and drove around and went to Chipoltle!!! my FAV!!

Also I now go to NCC a Community College in Sheldon, Ia. i have been really liking it....but it is the end of April and i just cant wait to be done with school for the summer!! haha i just love summer and getting to go to the lake!! seeing all my cousins and all that!!

Thanksgiving!

Well for Thanksgiving this year like usual i headed up to Worthington, MN for our Ten Napel family reunion! our family was smaller then usual as i was the only one from my family there but we had a lot of fun anyways!!















Also my family had Dinner with my Van Ravenswaay side and this is a picture of my Grandma and my cousin Shannon and Bethany's Cutie Haley!!

School and more....

So an other school year has started and it is not as easy this year as last year but thats good i guess because that means that im getting into the classes that i need for my Social Work Degree. i am loving my Geography and my Minority classes but then i have Philosophy, Stats, and English that im not too happy about but i need to take them all before i can go on in my studies so im just trying to do the best i can!

This past week my computer broke!! ahh!! NOT GOOD! to it is in Sioux Falls, SD, until at least the middle of next week!! it will be a lot of money to fix it too so im not really looking forward to that either :(

Iowa City!!

this year as every 3 years my family has headed down to Iowa City for our Toering Family Reunion. but this year most of the places that we have gone to in the past are under water because of the flooding in this area or they have so many bugs that it would be dumb to go to them! so as the Reunion starts tomorrow i am wondering what will we do? where will we go?? we usually go to a park for most of our meals and activities. other then that i am glad to so many people of my extended family that i do not get to see very often and i am excited to do some shopping tomorrow as it is tradition!! haha!!

other then that i do not have much news except that i got my hair cut 2 days ago!! it is really short for me!! i have not had my hair this short in a long time!!

~Summer 08~

well, summer began about 4 weeks ago. Right after school got out I went home to Minnesota for about a week and a half and now I am Back in NW Iowa and working, I work at Northwest Enterprises. This is my 3rd summer working there, I work 40 hours most weeks but I love it and i would not change working there for the world! Other then that my family usually goes to Round Lake. The lake is a small and private. it is on the MN and IA border right by Worthington, MN. BUT I have been so busy working and going to my Brothers graduation from high school last weekend and this weekend no one else is going up to the lake this weekend so i will just hang out at home....ohh well next weekend hopefully!! Another thing is that my Cousin Chelsie from MI is living near me this summer and working at the same place as I do! i do not get to see her very often as she lives so far away so this is a great thing for each of us!
